You have to give karma to someone else before you can give it to someone again.

But while I appreciate the thought, karma isn't necessary. If a post I make is helpful in some way, I'm happy.

(And I've been bemused, on occasion, but some of the posts that i]have[/i] generated karma.)

I know he's been doing a little better and is considering making some changes that I think will help with the grief. I think the next few months are going to be pretty hard on him but at least he doesn't have to worry about starting over with a new team.
The next few moths will certainly be hard on him, and the pain will never completely go away. But with time, it will become bearable. And I'm sure staying with the Bengals and continuing to coach they guys she treated like they were her kids is what she'd want him to do. (And I can see a Bengal's D player telling another who blew a play "Vicky wouldn't like that!" and getting results...)

A friend is an SF writer in Britain, and she expressed lack of understanding of what people saw in football (soccer). Another UK writer said it was about Story, and gave examples, and she understood. For me, the Bengals this year were about Story, and it seemed like the football gods had decided all the bad luck in the NFL would get dumped on them. They weren't my team, but I felt for them, wished them well, and don't think they have anything to be ashamed of in how they played and how well they did.

I was delighted when your brother got the raise and contract extension, because it was very well deserved, and if the Bengals hadn't done so, I think half the teams in the NFL would have been bidding for his services.
