-screensaver application. i don't like current screen savers
-text formatting on the fly as you read to change margins and spacing
-a system for figuring out what page you are on in the hardcover edition...or a simulated page location system
-folder/tag system for better organization
-better organization of highlights and typed notes across books
-application that aggregates words or phrases that you highlight for later review, perhaps in creating new word lists. might want to highlight words you are not familiar with and review later
-book rating system
