I'd agree that it'll probably make the list of great young adult literature, which is increasingly recognized amongst scholars as an area worthy of attention (my step-mother's PhD is in Library Sciences, with her emphasis being on young adult lit.).

I think it'll probably, eventually find a place of honor alongside the likes of the Peters Rabbit and Pan.
