Convertlit

I use Convertlit to adjust (remove DRM *coughs*) my lit files, it works very well.

I buy books through Fictionwise and BooksonBoard primarily, and occasionally directly from publishers.

When buying at Fictionwise if the book is in multiformat you download a .imp (native to EB1150) file which requires no conversion.

PDFs tend not to convert well, get funky stuff going on, DRM'd or not. Mobi can be converted, but it makes my brain hurt doing it.

You can also of course download .txt, .rft, and .html files as well.

It takes a bit to figure out the conversion thing, but once you get the hang of it, its not too hard at all!
