I am an avid re-reader and try to own the complete series of my favourite authors in pbooks, ebooks and audio versions. Here's a "short" list (I ran out of space for pbooks a LONG time ago...):
1. My All Time Favourite Author Robert A. Heinlein - love all the books! Most re-read books: The Door Into Summer, To Sail Beyond the Sunset, The Cat Who Walks Through Walls, Friday
2. Rex Stout - All Nero Wolfe novels
3. Agatha Christie - All, especially Harley Quin
4. Dorothy Sayers - All, especially Gaudy Night (in which Harriet accepts Lord Peter's proposal) and Busman's Honeymoon (in which Lord Peter marries his Harriet)
5. Ngaio Marsh - All, especially Death and the Dancing Footman, Black as He's Painted
6. John D.MacDonald Travis McGee novels - especially The Lonely Silver Rain (in which he meets his daughter for the first time)
7. M.C. Beaton - Hamish Macbeth, Agatha Raisin stories
8. Michael McGarrity - New Mexico comes to life in his books
9. Simon Brett - Charles Paris, Mrs Pargeter and Fethering series

Other well-worn notables on my bookshelf/audiobooks collection
Kurt Vonnegut - Galapagos
Wilkie Collins - Moonstone (the unabridged Audible version with 4 narrators enthralls!)
Sax Rohmer - Fu Manchu stories
Edgar Rice Burroughs - Princess of Mars series
John Mortimer - Rumpole stories

I have previously noted my affection for James Herriot books, especially the dog stories. Cedric the Farting Boxer is one you just HAVE to read if you get a chance, but make sure you have a box of tissues handy. BTW I noticed how many MR members love not only reading, but pets, both dogs and cats - is there some relationship there? Maybe a poll is in order? Apologies for the long post, but I couldn't stop myself...
