I recently got this collection of 28 Wilbur Smith books in Microsoft Reader (.lit) format on ebay (CD for $8.99 + $1.95 shipping)

and they converted very nicely in Calibre. ebay also has the same types of collections from the UK in PDF/LRF format. I like the Egyptian stories - River God and Seventh Scroll.
