I tried it too. After quite some trouble getting the installer to work for starters, I finally tried the app and it just didn't come up, no matter how I went about it.

Already it's a very poorly written Windows application, but the nail in the coffin is their non-standard USB communication with the reader, followed by and probably closely tied to their attempt at DRM.

So I just use libprs500, warts and all. For commercial material I have occasional access to a Windows box with Connect installed.
