I too like the fact about the SD Card slot and user replaceable battery and even multiple formats. Sure, there are problems with some of the formats and we can hope for future fixes, but it does EPUB very well, which is the primary format on the Sony Reader. I also like the multiple page advance functions, specifically the jog dial on the right-hand side.
