I saw this at Wikipedia about a restriction with using Android:

I am wondering what the implications of this means in a practical sense. Would this effect the ability to use java based chatrooms or games on yahoo chat for example from an Android based device?
I'm afraid I can't help you there. I'm a true non-believer when it comes to understanding how electronics work. If I try something with my phone (HTC Hero) and it does not work, I chalk it up to trying to do something with a phone that requires a computer. I am basically at that level of misunderstanding of how the universe works.

Amazingly, I'm a moderator here, but Rule Number Four of the Moderator's Room is "Don't touch that red button and we mean YOU, pshrynk!"

But, take heart, because very soon someone with a higher shiny throw will soon come along and answer your questions.
