If it's anywhere near as useful as my iPhone, but with a better screen, I'd say very yes.

I've read probably 50 books this year on my iphone and love it; my only complaint is that the screen is too small for technical books.

My main fear of buying an eink device is that the refresh rate may seem like falling into the stone age. I've gotten awfully used to stanza, and being able to turn pages a pixel at a time, and abort page turns if I change my mind before I finish the line I'm reading.
