ok, I too have been able to reproduce the problem.
Seems in menu mode the Center button doesn't work right when SHUTDOWN is selected in CENTER HOLD. I am very sorry for giving faulty info before, I have 2 505's and was sure that had set them both with CENTER BUTTON SHUTDOWN, but I just checked now on the one I was using to comment the last few hours, and found it wasn't set to SHUTDOWN.
I was WRONG.
I was able to go to default setting in menu Center button HOLD and put it to default and the center button worked again.
In READ mode the Center button works for me when binding key is set to CENTER HOLD shutdown.
