It's really quite hard to guess the accuracy of anything based on that article. Even if it were Mirasol, which is a remote possibility, the 122 hours figure is still a bit silly. Marketing conventions dictate that you give vague suggestions of "over 120 hours" or even "well over 100 hours" or be even more vague and give the time in days. You do not say "122 hours with regular usage" if you are leaking tidbits.
You're absolutely right, not backlit, but emissive. I would definitely agree on the odd number, why 122 versus days or over 5 days continuous use. That would seem to be a more impressive way to put it.
