yes, i'm on XP (pro). the last time, i noticed that it said something about a paging fault in a non-paged area, or something like that. here is the error message from the "event observer" from one of the errors, in case that helps / you're interested (sorry it's in french but i imagine you can get the general idea) :

i actually work in illustrator more than photoshop (i imagine that doesn't really make much difference though) but lately i've been doing mainly code, and the last few times i had the BSOD there were no image apps open, i think i had chrome, sigil, notepad, possibly dreamweaver, and probably either spotify or itunes. possibly something else but i really can't remember now.
