It was OK. Perhaps I just wasn't in the mood for a mystery. I found the shortcuts irritating, and the crime implausible.

Now for one of the TOR freebies from 2008 that I haven't got around to yet. Orphans of Chaos by John C. Wright. First of a series, so if it's good, my wishlist will expand again.
