Thanks for the info Kartu, it's inline with my experiments and confirms the 4GB data space limit with Files/Folders. I don't think I'll use the "mount SD card" way at the moment... it's a few extra steps in the process but if you ever figure a way to just add a couple of buttons to the File/Folder screen for Mount/unmount to give the extra access there then I'd be appreciative.

Not a biggie at the moment as I've got 25K of books across 2 cards (MS and SD) and still have space but it would be nice to get full functionality from the 8GB and 16GB cards that I have. Thanks for your time looking at this
