I think 8 inches is about the largest a reader can be before it becomes not very portable. Or rather, 8 inches is the largest reader I can imagine carrying about with me in my purse. I do want a larger screened reader, 10 inches or so, but for academic reading. I don't imagine I'd read much fiction on a screen that large. I would love to try out an 8 inch screen for fiction, however.
