I don't think I'd want a larger screen than my 7" JE-100 for general book reading. I think a larger screen would be more cumbersome to hold in one hand. (note: my 7" is a "wide-screen", I think with the same dimensions as the Sony-900.
That doesn't mean I don't want a larger screen which I can also use for general reading. But I wouldn't want to take it with me at all times and I don't think it'll be comfortable reading in bed...
