A fellow amateur writer, Vinnie Tesla, said in his LiveJournal, "Then I looked at the back cover copy: "Depictions of the future, irregardless of the form they take, always address the present as well." I put he book down and backed away slowly. I am not prepared to pay for writing by people who consider 'irregardless' a word."

I pointed out, "Cover copy is almost never written by the author(s) of a book. More likely, those immortal words were penned by someone in the Marketing Department, where literacy and accuracy are hinderances, not assets.
"The intersection of porn and SF was once thought to be the exclusive province of Philip Jose Farmer, but I've been enjoying Dave Smeds (Reed Manning) and Robert Silverberg, among others. Most recently, Steve Jordan tickled my fancy (no multiple entendrres intended.)"
So in turn he pointed out Circlet Press
http://www.circlet.com/ and reminded me of Piers Anthony. The original topic of his post was a book titled
Do Androids Sleep with Electic Sheep?, a book about the intersection of SF and porn.
I've just finished the first four books of John Ringo's Paladin of Shadows series and have cracked open book 5. Also read McCaffrey's
Dragonsong and
Dragonsinger.
Dragondrums is in the backpack for work breaks.
