Seems very interesting, but they (probably purposely) not shown the controller.
It is only the screen you see;
if they could make it dual sided epaper, they need some sort of controller with battery, and memory on the edge.
One nice controller would be if the screen could roll out of a stick, that would have in itself the battery, and the controller, as well as USB ports and/or a (micro) SD card slot.
