It is a fact and it cannot be changed. So, all that's left for us to do is to try to adapt to our beloved but not-so-flawless reader
Most likely in the future they will invent a reader with integrated light, probably something along a perimeter of the reader, although most likely it will quite heavily tax a battery.
Frankly speaking....I am happy with what I have atm. I don't think an integrated solution would be as bright as my current lamp and at the same time it doesn't deplete sony battery. I am not sure if there could be a better solution for me
