I am using a state of the art high-tech gadget when I read in my bed every night. My other half falls asleep about 1 hour earlier. I could not use those lights with normal hardback editions, because a size of their "screen" is significantly bigger and could not be covered by small lights evenly across a page, let alone it would require to re-clip the light each time you move to the next page which would be even further away from the light source. However, now I can read a book without irritating my other half and (thanks to verilux) feel very comfortable, my eyes do not feel tired after reading for 1 hour at all.
