According to Dave @ Chronolytics the supplied version of MPlayer supplied does! "There are hardware accelerators for H.263, H.264, MPEG4 and VC-1 (WMV9) decode." NB. but
only for the baseline versions so perhaps a good reason not to update MPlayer.
