From a Bookeen mail, it seems that this procedure can damaged the Cybook if its not exactly the same model as the one from dki. I would not try my luck. As you know there are different model of Cybooks, even different Cybook Gen3, into the wild, so we should take care.
dki, could you tell me what model do you have?
Did someone tried it with another Cybook and if so what model is it?
Did it work or did it crash?
