TIP: When installing ANY hack always store an UNPACKED copy of the hack file itself AND the UNinstall file for the hack in a folder off the root drive of the Kindle. I named mine HACKS. That way you have the uninstall files handy should you need to uninstall a hack AND the install files to put it back once updated.
Kindle does not care if there is EXTRA content on it's "drive" in a folder other than it's system folders, it does care about the version of files within it's system folders when upgrading though.
P.S.: Resetting to defaults sets OPTIONS back to defaults not the system files back to original.
