Just when I decide to pull the trigger....

So, after the CES shook out, I decided that the Sony Daily is the right reader for me. I thought I was going to wait it out until I saw another deal like Best Buy had for a while there, then thought to myself, "Hey, Sony gives 10% off to academic purchasers". 40 bucks off is close enough to 50 bucks off list price for me! So I tried to buy it online last night, but couldn't navigate to the Campus Store. Tried again today from a University computer, thinking that may have been the problem. Didn't work. Tried the support "chat", THEY couldn't get there either, but said I could telephone the order in, no problem. Yes problem, they shuttled me around to 4 different people (all of whom seemed to be going through the same steps I had trying to navigate to the Campus Store).

The really irritating thing is that when I first tried to order last night, it said the estimated ship date was 1/15. Now it's 1/29 (at least the date that shows up on the left hand side of the screen, not the date next to the "put in cart" button). So when I finally do get an order put through, I'll get the thing a lot later than if their order system had been working properly
