Plastic Logic calls it epaper too, see
Plastic Display, and once again the important point is that the innovation is in the active matrix backplane. At one point Plastic Logic was definitely using EInk Vizplex film. I guess Plastic Logic and/or LG Display (Skiff) could be using a different e-paper film now, but the only reason this would matter is that Vizplex is a known quantity and other epaper technologies are not.
