Thanks for the interest, Guns4Hire. Unlike Amazon or even Mobipocket, authors have no control creating hyperlinked Table of Contents when publishing on Smashwords. Smashwords advises authors not to attempt to create hyperlinked TOC. If and when you encounter clickable TOC, it is usually generated by the Smashwords publishing computer. Due to the short length of Into the Abyss, I highly doubt you'll find any meaningful TOC links in my ebook in any format.
However, since Into the Abyss isn't a long book, you shouldn't have any real difficulty navigating the story. Hope that answers your question.
