No. I do not regret.
I never buy on impulse. I don't have spare money to waste. On the other hand, I didn't read even one freebie so far (3 years with ebook readers). I read only what I want to read and when I want to read. Just because some freebies pop up here and there doesn't mean I must read them, let alone rebated books even if their cost would be for £0.01.
