I have a Sony PRS-300 and Calibre 0.6.33.

Thanks for the help!
I don't believe so.

My collection names help narrow down what the books under that collection are about. Often I have the name of the series or trilogy etc as the name of the collection. I also have collections with names such as Hugo Best Novel, Horror Writer's Top 40, Mystery & Crime etc...

The best I have done for more detailed descriptions is the metadata summary. I use the option to "Insert the book metadata at the start of the book." under Structure Detection during conversion (I convert all my books so there is a line between all paragraphs and so the font size is the way my older eyes like it). This at least places the Series and Series number along with the summary as the first page inside the book.

The summary helps me recall what the book was about and the Series # makes sure I'm on the right book in the series.

If you come across a better way let me know.
