I have to admit that Fictionwise's sale drew me in and I ended up buying books that I might not have picked up otherwise. Most of them were books that I wanted and had been slowly trying to buy anyway. It was so easy to get a few and then use the micropay rebates to get a few more...and so on and so forth.

I am guilty of buying books and then forgetting about them, but I see this as a good thing. Every now and then I will get bored and wander through my collections, looking for something interesting. I will usually see a title and wonder what that book was, which ends up getting me drawn into something that I didn't even know I had. It's like getting a new book without actually going through the hassle of having to decide if it's a good idea or not. After all I liked it enough to pick it up, so it must have been worth the effort.
