Dear AJ and French:
You both are terrific.
I am SO filled with happiness and delight for what is soon coming. I just wish I could share it all. CES was a real eye-opener and the new devicesw are just what MobileRead has been asking for. Dale DePriest was there and had one of the prototypes overnight. He noted what we could better... but overall seemed to love the device very much. I want to work as a TEAM on these projects... and I am sure we will include all in discussion when we can.
The key thing is that Little Astak was a Big Boy at CES. Where we were always "another brand" before... we were a major player and received that way at CES. To be sure, Rob of the Washington Post again snubbed us... but that was his loss as other reviewers and media flocked to us.
I was called "Father of the CES eBook Pavilion" and my idea for CES blossomed into eBook Madness!! Where Big Screen TV's reigned supreme and netbooks were stealing the show in years past... the crowds were out in force in the eBook Tech-Zone and were delighted over and over with the Pocket PRO. We would take it out of the case and people were astonished at how light it felt and how great it was to hold. Page turn speed was noted by all who tried the scroll wheel and saw it put thru its advantages. AND... finally... reporters were coming to us and noting the problem with one or a few websites you could buy from with Kindle and Sony. They are really embracing Open Format!!
