I'm one of those "I just want to read" folks
My perfect device is my prs-600 (almost):
What I would change:
-Multiple dictionary support, multiple languages
-Clearer screen, but keep the finger touchscreen (whatever the technical term is)
-Easily configurable font, every language supported
What I would keep:
-NO wireless connectivity (I'm oldfashioned like that), though an offline version of wikipedia would be nice
I won't deny it needs a few more minor adjustments, like keeping the zoom between page turns, note-taking on zoomed documents, etc etc, but generally I'm happy with it.
I'll edit with new features if anything occurs to me, I'm sure I'm forgetting something important
[EDIT] A magical backlight would be nice, one that I would turn on only at night, and have off any other time. And its brightness should be adjustable too!
Another idea is that the screen would be paper thin and could be rolled in a scroll (from scrolls to paper books to ebooks to scrolls again
), but I'm not sure if it would be easy to hold and navigate. Have to think a little more about that...
