I have to agree with you. I also have never purchased an Apple product, and it is highly unlikely that I ever will. I like the Windows OS, especially Win7.
I very much want a tablet PC too. The HP that was shown at CES had way too much bezel, the front needs to be 98% screen. Still waiting for a tablet...
