Speaking of animals, we had a Lace Monitor strolling up to our back door yesterday, then around the pool, then climbing the palms. He'd have been a little over a metre (3.3') long (so, not fully "adult"). I got a couple of bad photos, but I'm yet to download them. Very pretty.
