Just finished "A Face at the Window", number 12 in the Sarah Graves Home Repair is Homicide series. I'm trying to figure out why she went in such a different direction with this one, and from the reviews I've seen, evidently with the next one as well. The last two in the series I loved, they had a paranormal element that was very intriguing. But that's all gone in this one, it was much more edgy and intense than any of the previous books. Much more "thriller" and a lot less "cozy". It was still a good read, and a fast one, too; I'm not really complaining, it just wasn't what I expected.
