@RWood: You'd be surprised! I have another ThinkPad laptop that I still like, which is probably about 13yrs old, and I can still use (well only for MS Office, and only when plugged into the wall outlet because the battery doesn't hold a charge!)

@Mogui: I like that! The "Tribble" philosophy for ubiquitous computing. You might be on to something!
