This seems to happen with PDFs that have somehow locked in manual line breaks (even after the reflow process). So what you are seeing is a line longer than the screen wrapping at the screen edge. It is a limitation of mobile Adobe Digital Editions reflow algortihms, so this happens on many devices not just the PRS-300. I agree that at a minimum mobile ADE should wrap on word boundaries in these cases.

The only work around I am aware of is, as spideog says, to convert to ePub off-line.
