Ditto, except I use Kindle for PC on my
Sony U750P 5" PC. Bought in late 2004, but it's like it was made for Kindle for PC. The screen rotates to portrait, making its form factor similar to today's 5" e-readers, though a bit heavier, thicker, and longer. Touchscreen, so page turns can be simple finger touches, and PC-instant. I get up to 5 hours with a new extended battery and wi-fi off.
Great also for quickly perusing Calibre magazines and newspapers, because of its instant page turns. And to reduce eyestrain from backlit LCDs, Calibre allows you to change the background and text colors via simple CSS edits to more pleasing, muted colors.
