Some people find contrived use of foreign language loan words to express things that are simply enough done in English to be irritating.
I don't care much about "liseuse", though I'd never use it myself. Of course, on these predominantly English-language fora I stick to "ebook reader" or some other conventional and commmonplace English term rather than 電子書 or 電子書閱讀器, which are what I normally say in real life. I could push it in Romanized Chinese as
diànzi shū or
diànzi shū yüèdú qì but I don't bother as it's intentionally confusing to those who aren't similarly contriving to adopt it for whatever reason.
