Hi Richman, sorry to read that it didn't work for you. In my case, it was like I wrote above, so sorry I made you jump through loops without any gain. At least I can say that I didn't come from a virgin fw. When I tried to upgrade to 1.0 (just changing the necessary files), I got the original fw from Sony back. I don't know where the reader had that from. Sorry again.
