Dang, I hate when that happens!

Do the files show up on your card reader? There should be two and they should be in the root directory. There should be nothing else on the card, meaning I think it was clean but knowing me...

You might try powering it up without a card, powering it down again, inserting the update card and powering it on again. It may not be registering the fact that the card has been swapped out. You could also try holding the page down button while turning it on (upgrade card installed) to force it to read the card but I'm having second thoughts about this one as I type it. Probably nothing bad will happen but for some reason the thought fills me with foreboding.

PS, from what I hear, eBook Technologies does have a quick turn around time on upgrading it in house. You might send 'em an email to see if they have suggestions.
