It seems like we've been inundated lately with new independent houses and authors over in the media, blogosphere, and even our own Writing Forum and Deals/Freebies.

How many of you have checked out the material and their other works? Do you have favorites?

It could be overwhelming for someone that wants to dip into the indie scene, but doesn't want to go take the polar bear plunge

Are there specific houses that you exclusively read from?

I remember the music revolution in the 90's when Wind-Up Records, Fueled by Ramen, and Drive Thru all came out at the same time... people had their loves and would buy any or everything they produced

I like Apex, Tachyon, Nightshade, and Prime.
