I only use the Sony software on the occasions where I buy an ebook from the Sony store. I also use Calibre to manage my collection of books, both the few from the Sony store and the ones purchased from other stores and converted by Calibre to epub format.

I also find that the UI of the Sony software is a bit inconsistent with the normal UI of other programs on OSX. I find it constantly annoying that the mouse scroll wheel doesn't seem to work at all.
