No doubt about it - what I'm trying to establish here is that not everyone who buys something with an apple on it is a fanboy and buys
anything with an apple on it.

If all your here to do is complain and moan about all of Apples mistakes then well dont you have something better to be doing with your time?
Im posting in here because I really like Apple products and was enjoying the discussion and speculation on the iSlate.
And pretty much its being ruined by Trolls.

yet you continue to call people fanboys, not knowing what actually makes someone a fanboy? Talk about getting your facts straight

Stockholm syndrome, anyone smell stockholm syndrome? See, I have had 2 problems ever since I switched to using Macs - one loose cooling fan and one non-working speaker, both of which were repaired at no cost within an hour or so. No spontaneous resets, no BSODs, no reinstallation of the OS, no crashing outlook due to filled up PST files, no problems with SPAM, no problems with virii, no problems with trojans ... All I ever do on my parents' and in-laws' computers is fix things, clean things up, undo the installation of 25 browser toolbars, and update virus databases. I've had it up to here (see me drawing a virtual line 50cm above my head) with system fixing, I am tired of fixing things. I only do it because I have to or else be disposessed

My friends spend an estimated 10% of their time not working but to tinkering with their machines instead. I have only had the mentioned 2 hours of repair time in the last 6.5 years, distributed over 3 Apple laptops.

You're regurgitating ancient misinformation. Back then it was the old-school turntable generation having a problem with the newfangled MP3 with it's lack of depth and soul and whatever. Very much like the "paper-smell" fraction that's giving eBooks a hard time.

Probably according to rumors sites
This thread is amazing. It's turned into an Apple bashing - however objectively the "fanboys" try to argument there is no finding a middle ground with the aPple haters who I shall now call "Billyboys" just for the sake of aggravating them.
I'm outta here, rubbing my iPhone all over my body and kneeling in front of my HisJobsNess shrine.
