It has great point: Apple equipment is being promoted by people who aren't objective. The virulent nature of Apple fandom is well noted and certainly unhelpful to the general public.

I disagree. At least Sony fans are tasteful about their personal fanatic views. Apple fanboys need to bother everyone in the Universe apparently, and everyone who can't afford their latest and greatest overpriced equipment is deemed substandard. - I know, it's happened to me.

I have no idea what makes the stereotypical Apple fanboy. I'm assuming Apple propaganda has done it, but you never know with that lot.

And here I was thinking it was due to huge amounts of advertising and social pressure.

They don't do everything I want. My fingers apparently are too fat to make a telephone call. That was the conclusion I came to when I tried the iPhone in-store.

Lucky you.
No, really, lucky you. You bought 3 computers and have been lucky to not have major problems with them. That obviously can be extrapolated to every Mac out there. Same with the 1 PC. Anyway..

We definitely don't like Apple products - but we are interested in Apple the same way one is interested in a car crash, with social overtones due to the irritating incursions of virulent fanboys.

I don't complain or moan about all of Apples mistakes. Just the ones that leave people with expensive devices that either don't work or are falling apart. That covers plenty of them.

And pretty much its being ruined by Trolls.

When we have more concrete information about Apples latest presumably overpriced gadget I'm sure the conversation will pick up for you.
