True.
But two point still :
It's hard to forseen ALL what could happen.
If an ePub don't respect the standard, well... Not the reader's job to fix that. If everything goes as excepted, both reader and ePub use the standard, and it "just work". There shouldn't be stuff the reader "don't recognize".
