I think the argument isnt so much that there are Apple fanboys but that saying 'im sure apple fanboys will buy it no matter what' is both obvious and pointless.
That is because every company has the same thing, a friend of mine will only buy Sony Tvs even though the same spev TV by another manufacturer would be cheaper... MS fanboys actually bought Zunes

Its the fact that Apple release products that MAKE people into fanboys that means that the product the person had made them happy and they then want to have more of Apples products.
the iphone actually in my experience has sold more through people seeing what it can do than the adverts, in my work team of 12 people 5 have gone for the iPhone based on seeing me using mine and asking about it.
For the average person Apple phones do everything they would want them to and if you said to that person "well no it cant because you cant easily access the file system" they would go "erm sorry what?" and wouldnt care.
I had and still have the 1st gen iPhone and its perfect for me.
I spend much less time having to fix my 3 Apple computers than I do my Dads one modern PC.
What I really dont get is why anyone who isnt interested in Apple and doesnt like their products is even posting in this thread?
If all your here to do is complain and moan about all of Apples mistakes then well dont you have something better to be doing with your time?
Im posting in here because I really like Apple products and was enjoying the discussion and speculation on the iSlate.
And pretty much its being ruined by Trolls.
