These have worked out well - they are Class 4. They seem to work fine - there is a slight delay, but I don't really notice it. I am not sure about power drain, but it isn't noticeable so far. I could live with the 512MB fine with some minor management of content. The only time I can imagine I would need more is if I were traveling for a month or so and didn't bring my laptop. I don't really read all that quickly (a lot of my material consists of journal articles and PDF files for my Masters, which isn't light reading).

The cards are handy for organizing things, though.
