I wasn't referring to skimming. My point is that every company reacts any way they can when profitability is threatened. So we shouldn't blame publishers for trying something like holding back ebooks. Now, if that is a smart move, that is a different subject.

Both the publishers' and Apple's moves are definitely "user unfriendly".
