HP iPaq hx4700 Pocket PC + Piel Frama leather case

For sale: HP's former "flagship" Pocket PC, the hx4700, with a 4" 640x480 transflective LCD screen:

The machine runs Windows Mobile 2003, Second Edition, so you can run a huge variety of book reading software (Microsoft Reader, MobiPocket Reader, eReader, etc. etc.) and other applications. It has 64MB RAM, 192MB flash RAM (of which about 120MB is available to the user), plus SD and CF card slots, so storage is effectively unlimited. It has both Bluetooth and WiFi for wireless comms, and all the usual Windows Mobile apps, plus some nice HP "extras".

Supplied in the original box with all the original accessories (charger, docking cradle, etc, plus a "charge and sync" cable allowing it to be connected directly to a PC without needing to use the docking cradle. Also supplied with a hand-made "Piel Frama" tan leather case, which provides excellent protection (and looks great).

This was my main book reader before the advent of eInk devices, and I'm only getting rid of it because I can't see myself ever using it again. The screen is absolutely georgeous, with bright, vivid colour, and, because it's a "transflective" LCD, it can be read in full daylight.

You can read a full review of the machine here.

Originally cost well over £400, plus the £50 leather case. Asking £75 for the lot (machine, case, charge and sync cable); I'll pay the insured postage to anywhere in the EU. Payment to be made by PayPal.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
